Angel Tree
Thank you to everyone who took a tag off of the Angel Tree. Please bring the unwrapped gift back to the church by December 10th. Please contact the church office with questions at 517-882-8665.
Our celebration of the true story of Christmas will be December 13, from 5:30-7:30pm. Volunteers are needed as a costumed character, to sew costumes, help with crafts, provide refreshments or sing Christmas carols. Invite your family, friends and neighbors to join us for the event! Join us for the Advent and Christmas Hymn Festival on Sunday, December 14 at 3 p.m. Music for congregation and choir will be led by organ, handbells, brass, timpani, strings and woodwinds. Our organist will be Kevin Hildebrand who is from Concordia theological Seminary in Fort Wayne.
The culmination of the Advent season is the celebration of the birth of our Savior.
This Christmas Eve we will have 3 services: 3pm, 5pm, 7pm on Wednesday, December 24.
– 3:00pm: Christmas Eve Connect Worship Service. This is our station-based young family focused service.
– 5:00pm Contemporary Christmas Eve Worship Service, led by our worship band.
– 7:00pm: Traditional Christmas Eve Worship Service, includes Adult Choir, Adult Handbell Choir and Brass.
All services include a candlelight ceremony, 5:00 & 7:00pm will have communion.
Special Worship Time for Sunday, December 28
There will be one service at 9:30am on Sunday, December 8th. We will return to regular worship times at 8:30am and 10:30am on Sunday, January 4th.
Christmas and New Year’s Office Hours
The church and school offices will be closed Wednesday, December 24 through Friday, January 2. We will reopen on Monday, January 5. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call 517.940.9580.
