CityServe 2026 will be on Saturday, May 30th! We are excited about the opportunity to help our community through the Lansing CityServe event. We will be partnering again with several area churches to help those in our community that may not have the ability to do certain projects at their homes. There is a display and a volunteer signup spot in the lobby. If you would like to help, but are not able to for any reason, you might consider giving a monetary donation to cover the costs of CityServe. You can submit that to the church office and designate it for Lansing CityServe. We look forward to serving our community together!

Forts and Sorts – Food Donation Announcement
Along with Messiah, Holt, OSL is hosting Forts and Sorts at Youth Haven Ranch June 14-20, 2026. This is a week long servant event for high school youth who will come to the ranch to work including repairs, yard work, painting, cleaning and building projects. Youth Haven Ranch is a camp for at risk kids in Rives Junction, Michigan which provides a safe and fun environment and most importantly tells them about Jesus. Starting on Sunday, May 10 until Wednesday, June 10, we will be collecting food items to help feed the youth and volunteer workers. A list of items is on the display table in the lobby and you can place your donated items in the boxes by the table. If you have any questions, please call Sue Janetzke at (517) 285-7144.
Baby Bottle Blessing – Sponsored by the OSL Life Team
Let’s love the baby and support the mom! Pick up a baby bottle in the church lobby on Mother’s Day. Take the bottle home and fill it with spare change, cash, or a check. Return the bottle on Father’s Day. All proceeds will benefit the Pregnancy Center of Eaton County (PCEC). A listening ear, emotional & spiritual support, pregnancy tests and ultra-sounds, parenting classes, material assistance – it’s all free, and it’s all provided by the committed and caring staff at the pregnancy center.
