Living Nativity
Our celebration of the true story of Christmas will be December 21, from 5-7pm. Volunteers are needed as a costumed character, to sew costumes, help with crafts, provide refreshments or sing Christmas carols. Invite your family, friends and neighbors to join us for the event! For more information or to sign up, see the table in the church lobby or Contact Chris Manning at 517-626-0344 or guinessfish2@gmail.com.

Advent Devotion Booklets
The Advent Devotional booklet, “The Promises of God”, was written by members of our congregation. We pray that you and your family will be blessed through the reading of God’s word, some meditational thoughts about the coming King, and a prayer for you each day during Advent. These daily devotions are emailed each day and hard copies are available in the church lobby. To be added to our email list, please send your name and email address to contact@oursaviorlansing.org.

Young Family Advent Devotions
We have a special devotional booklet available for young families this advent season.  It is a weekly devotion that includes a verse, activity, discussion and prayer.  Pick up your copy in the church lobby or download it at oursaviorlansing.org/advent.

Advent Yard Signs
Share the “Reason for the Season” with your neighbors! We now have new yard signs available for you to put in your yard during advent that feature a manger scene and “Jesus is the Reason for the Season”.  You may pick up your sign in the church entrance on Sunday mornings or in the front office Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm. These signs are provided to you at no charge due to the generosity of the Our Savior Endowment Fund.

Advent by Bonfire
Men of OSL – the OSL Men of Courage celebrate Advent with a bonfire, good food, craft beer, and great fellowship. Invite a brother, cousin, uncle, or friend, and join us on Saturday, December 14th, from 5-8pm, for a great time of fellowship amongst brothers in Christ. This event is for men, high school age and older. Cost is $25 for Adults and $10 for High School through Age 20. Advent Wednesdays
Our first Wednesday in Advent, December 4 at 7pm, will be an Advent hymn sing. Beautiful Advent hymns sing of God’s promises. This will be followed by the Grades 5-8 Christmas Concert on December 11 (7pm), and the Grades 1-4 (7pm) Christmas Concert on December 18. Music allows us to share the reason for the season and the gift of our Savior in a powerful way!

Angel Tree
It’s that time of year again and we want to provide a wonderful Christmas for children in need. The Angel tree will go up next week at which time you can select a tag. Please bring the unwrapped gift back to the church by December 11th. Please contact the church office with questions at 517-882-8665.
